Yeah... So here's the Ao oni fangame I made.

Nira Oni is a project I put together with a friend last summer. We had a lot of fun designing and programming the game. It's compiled in Game Maker - but it's done from scratch. No RPG engine, no graphics engines were provided.

It's been through beta and playtesting - and seems to be done! But the playtesters know the game very well (since they've been playing it for almost a year now) and the game would really benefit from new eyes playing it. If you find any problems, let me know! I recently have been working on my 2 projects: Oni Quest and Voca Oni. I kinda want you guys to suggest what I can put into the games.

What I have so far in Oni Quest:

A working intro, indirect sequel to Ynam Oni 3. Chased from an Oni, climb down a well, Oni catches you, you get teleported into some weird space thingy (similar to Hiroshi's dream in Ynam Oni 3). You activate a crystal, and you get teleported to a town. The town has 3 shopkeepers, one about potions, one with weapons and armor, and one related to magic. Fully functional level-up system with skills that you learn. 4 enemies, 2 are secret. Ah, well it's time to let all of you know. I'm going on a break from Mansion Story, it won't be awfully long but I'm just going to stop production for a bit. For you see, I need voice actors, not only that. But my artist seems to be a little tired[I have made her work non-stop on the face-sets] but so far...Everything is good, to be honest with you guys. I was going to divide it into chapters but remembered my promise "I won't make this into a divided game series" so yeah, it's possible Mansion Story will come out in late May, more or less. Yep, I decided "why not?" I want to let you know that this game is probably going to be even better than Kagame, so far it seems like everythings going well with it and stuff, there's just one chase but it just extends to the Opening of the game. Just to let you know, NO. This is not as far as I got in the game, I just deleted some data so you decrypters don't go further into the game, and now. Here it is: Download

YEP, THAT'S RIGHT! IT'S RELEASED!!

Quick explanation: It's good. Better than episode 2. Featuring new characters, this game is my best released so far. Also, "basic" dialog is used during the first half of the game. This new, fancier dialog goes on for the rest of the game. And, there is some new music you guys have never heard before! Yes, that's right. A new chase theme (sounds really fitting), final chase theme, and 3 MIDI music that just sound amazing. One of them is used for the title screen. And, you don't need to worry about any "fake menu" screamers at the end.

Have fun, and stay alive.

And don't look in the audio/graphic files until you finish the game. Lots of spoilers of what characters are introduced and what the new amazing music…

So, here we go: How did you find out about Ao Oni? I was playing noprops` games one day (3 small keys, KURUMA, Sunken Room, Etc.) I`m trying to make an english version of kuro oni! I won`t be altering gameplay or anything, it`ll just be in english. I need 2 things before I can do it, though:

1. A description of the cutscenes and items that is more detailed. Google translate makes no sense most of the time.

2. Different names for the main characters. Their korean names are too tedious to type out everytime someone talks. Anyone have some good ideas?

P.S: This is a possible project. It`s already started, but I won`t be dedicating all my time to it.

What Onis are the scariest you've ever seen/encountered? It can be by looks, what the Oni has done in the game, or what they sound like at certain occasions.

Here's my list in no particular order:

1. Siro Oni ((especially Custom and 2-headed) This thing has a somewhat long and confusing backstory to it... Was it a lab experiment? Is it Hukasi himself? Is it a god? No one knows for sure.)

2. Hakyo Oni (This one looks creepy, and the sound it makes is just shivering.)

3. Akame Oni (That smile, man. That smile.)

4. Blockman Oni (Those teeth still creep me out, especially when it found me in a closet with the BLOCKMAN cheat on.)

I'll give a list of what games I am currently working on, and what I have so far of them.

Ynam Oni 3 :  Got a pretty large portion done, and lots of new characters, and maybe even a character that you should know if you're on the net a lot. No secret areas yet, and I don't entirely plan to have an extra ending. Just death traps, which could count as extra endings, but really minor. Also, there are ABSOLUTELY NO KOREAN FILES.

I got this idea because every third tier deserves a page, due to them having actual information. Hello everybody, This is the first EndLess Rpg Update about the Oni Reference, sorry if i use bad english

Everybody knows that the first meet with the oni (On the original game and HetaOni, KyoOni etc...) happens when you take a key, well on my game is the same but this include a little change

Oh yes. That's right. A demo for one of my upcoming games. I have added quite a few things in it so far, and there are two functional chases programmed as of now. After the first chase in the mansion (not outside), there is really nothing else to do after that.

I have added a secret area with secret music and secret sounds with secret monsters and secret endings!

...Still don't get it? Ugh.

There is only 1 secret ending, which involves fighting an enemy. If you either win or lose (I've tested it, it's impossible to win) you will get that ending (which will disappoint you).

Also, there is no going back and no saving in the secret area. It's a one-way trip.

Well. I have made a discovery. I cannot in any way or form make an oni game. I geuss I`ll just stick to playing them, then. But there is a few types of oni games I`d like to see made (Not trying to sound greedy or anything, I just think these would be cool to play.) LIST TIME!

I have been very inactive lately. I am not contributing much but I`m not leaving. I also am thinking of making an oni game! I will have to purchase xp first but some ideas are already bouncing around. I think a big part of the game would be that the character has an electric lamp which gives them a small circle of light. The oni will only be visible in this ring of light but the chase music will still be heard. Eventually the lights will turn on in the oni`s mansion but the lamp will still be a large mechanic. I was also thinking that the mansion will have a sort of affinity to silver as in keys other than silver won`t work on doors (As in they will be rewarded for failing a puzzle) and people with silver features can do certain things oth…

I had some free time on my hands, and plenty of ideas, so... I decided to make a game called "Weeping Oni"

I decided to pause the production of Ynam Oni episode 3, as I am having a bit of trouble coming up with ideas. Instead, I am making this new game, called Oni Quest. It's going to have a functional shop, a town, and many Onis to be chased from. Now, all of the chases (except the beginning one) take place in the mansion by the town. So, it's going to be very related to the original Ao Oni. The mansion design will be different, and there will be many more Onis that will chase you.
